Synopsis

This film brings to life the story of a dying breed of lesbians: the women who dared come out in the 1950’s. The film focuses on Dorothy Fairbairn, a tough-as-nails butch who kicked ass and took names (as well as the names of a few lovers, too). Through the lens of 11 life lessons, Dorothy gives an abridged account of LGBT history, teaches the importance of standing your ground and offers up a perspective only possible with a Ph.D. from the School of Life.  USA. 8 min, 38 sec.
